Alice J. Majeski, 81, of Exeter, formerly of Edwardsville, died peacefully Sunday, July 27, 2025, at home surrounded by her daughter and son. She was the daughter of the late James and Alice Youngblood of Edwardsville. Alice was a highest honors graduate of Edwardsville High School, Class of 1962, and also head majorette.
After graduation, Alice worked for Pioneer Mfg. (Seltex Factors) and Leslie Fay in their offices. She worked at several different part-time jobs while the children were in school. She retired as an administrative assistant at the American Cancer Society. Not one to sit home after an early retirement, she worked three tax seasons at the local CPA office and then home-schooled two children for four years.
She was a Reach to Recovery volunteer and a member of the NEPA Widows Group. Alice loved traveling to Las Vegas and shore points and especially liked cruising with friends and family members. She always enjoyed going to estate sales and garage sales. Alice always had a Siamese cat or two (maybe three) for pets.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Aug. 11, 2014, whom she married on Sept. 16, 1967; and her brother-in-law's wife, Bonnie Majeski.
Alice is survived by daughter, Renee, and husband Mike Miller, of West Pittston; son, Kevin of Wyoming and grandson, Zackery Miller; brother, James Youngblood and wife, Debbie, of Courtdale; brothers-in-law, Carl Majeski and wife, Louise; and Jerome Majeski, all of Plains Twp.; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her companion, Edward Luzernski.
A private service was held on Wednesday at Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. followed by entombment in Mount Olivet Mausoleum next to her beloved husband and high school sweetheart, Ray. Alice will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Renee and Kevin. So very shocked and saddened by your Mom´s passing. Such a wonderful person. So vivacious, so caring, so compassionate to all in times of need. Your Mom and Dad were, and always will have a permanent place in our hearts. GOD Bless you both and give you strength.
