MOUNTAIN TOP — Anna M. (Hudock) Modrovsky, 93, of Mountain Top, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the Mountain Top Senior Care Center.
Born in Rita, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Smee) Hudock. Anna was a 1945 graduate of Fairview Township High School and was the class secretary. She graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business College in 1946. She was a talented pianist who loved music and wrote her high school graduating class's graduation song. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Anthony F. Modrovsky, a son, Andrew "Drew" Modrovsky, and the following brothers and sisters: Joseph, William and Henry Hudock, Christina Aton, Peggy Randal and Kay Hollock. Anna was the last surviving member of her siblings.
Surviving are her children: Tony Modrovsky and wife Regina, of Wilkes-Barre, Carol Novosel and husband John, of Mountain Top, Stephen Modrovsky and wife Lisa, of Mountain Top and Michael Modrovsky and wife Kim, of Honesdale. Eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top, those wishing to attend the funeral should go directly to the church Monday morning. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, White Haven. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mountain Top Senior Care residents activity fund would be appreciated.

Dear Carol and Families,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of your lovely Mother. She was always so kind and a sweet presence when I would run into her at the store or when she brought Drew to the barn to see the horses. I know she will be be greatly missed. God bless.
