Bonnie Chechele Obituary
Bonnie S. Chechele, of Fillmore, N.Y., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2025, in Olean General Hospital, New York.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1958, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Stephen and Veronica Homza. She married Michael L. Chechele, who survives.
Bonnie was a graduate of the Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1976.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is their son, Mikey Chechele, of Fillmore; a sister, Donna (Joe) Schartzer; a brother, Stephen (Donna) Homza; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends, co-workers, and many "adopted" children who called her mom.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Sue Homza.
Family and friends may gather from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in Corpus Christi Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m.
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
