Bonnie C. Shwom, 81, of Mountain Top, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center, Dallas.
Born in Kingston on Aug. 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ethel Coslett.
Bonnie was a retired businesswoman who owned and operated Elements of Style, a high-end consignment boutique. She had a passion for fashion and jewelry, and her style reflected the creativity and flair she carried throughout her life. She was also a devoted animal lover, especially fond of her poodles. Known for her outgoing spirit, strong will and heartful laugh, Bonnie brought warmth and joy to those around her. She cherished the beauty of nature and found peace in its presence.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by son, Scott Shaner, and daughter, Heather Shaner.
Bonnie is survived by her loving partner, Don Kronick; her sons, David Shaner, and his wife, Terri, and Todd Shaner and his wife, Jen; her grandchildren, Cameron Shaner and wife, Emilee; Xander Shaner; and Brody Shaner; and her sister, Gail Coslett. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. A prayer service will be held toward the end of the visitation. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnie's memory to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge.
