Carl Peters Obituary
Carl F. Peters, 81, of Slocum, died Dec. 15, 2025. A funeral service will be held at noon Friday in Slocum United Methodist Church, 185 Blue Ridge Trail, Wapwallopen. A viewing is set for 10 a.m. to service time. Arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, Nanticoke.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Carl (as we liked to call him). We have many fond memories of his visits to New York, trips to the fair, antiquing in Florida, and his nightly 9 p.m. calls to Grandpa. He was a wonderful friend to our family and will be deeply missed.

So very sorry to hear of Carl´s death. Carl was certainly one of a kind. As Carl´s pastor in the early 2000´s I found him to be a truly genuine person. Oh how he loved that Slocum Church! I loved seeing his Santa collection at his home this time of year. He certainly will be missed.
