Carolyn was a dear friend and a sister as we shared together this horrible disease. I loved her zest for life. She truely had a great personality. She always looked to the future and really wanted a motorcycle! I am blessed to have known her. I will always think of her with fond memories. I will miss her as she frequent the halls at Wilkes Barre General hospital. As sick as she felt, she managed to wear her lipstick and eye makeup. What a great loss! a beautiful person! I love you Carolyn!

When Carol and Gene moved into our community years ago, they became our friends. Office visits by Carol many many times were the highlight of our day. Kind, considerate and upbeat, in spite of her having to "walk a hard road", carol was a joy to be around. Each time Carol faced another problem, her illness never became a focal point in her life..She faced each problem head on, as Carol loved life. Gene was her rock. His humor and kindness gave Carol the will to forge ahead. She was a very special woman, a woman of class. Lynne and I really will miss Carol our friend. Someday we will all meet again and the sun will shine.
