Christopher G. Dotzel, 59, of Mountain Top, passed away on Wednesday morning.
Born in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of the late Norbert and Miriam (Badman) Dotzel. Chris was a talented mason and heavy equipment operator. He always made himself available to help family and friends with their projects, no matter how challenging they were. Chris was an avid model train collector and loved fishing at Black Lake, N.Y.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, Andrew Dotzel.
Surviving are his son, Christopher Dotzel Jr., and wife Lindsey; grandsons, Chase and Finn Dotzel; brothers and sisters, Norbert Dotzel and wife Joanne, Terry Dotzel and wife Pam, Mark Dotzel and wife Marylou, Steve Dotzel and wife Kim, Diane Lehnhart and husband Ron, and Lisa Penkala and husband Paul. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.
