Dorothy A. Jenkins, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 5, 2025, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital shortly after admission.
Born June 9, 1931, in Swoyersville, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Malikowski Reilly. Moving to Kingston at an early age, she was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1949. Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Ignatius Loyola Church, where she was a member of the choir, taught CCD, and participated in church activities and events. A devoted homemaker, Dorothy cherished her time spent with family.
She was predeceased by her husband, David M. Jenkins, in 2017. Also preceding her in death were a brother, Jack Reilly, and sisters, Rosemary Woolsey, Eleanor Grimes, and Joan Alexis.
Surviving are her sons, Mark Kingston; and Neil and his wife, Angi, and their children, twins, Brenna and Gabriel, Gilbertsville; and nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a visitation with family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home Inc., 416 Wyoming Ave., Kingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning in St. Ignatius Loyola Church, N. Maple Ave., Kingston. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
