Edward Balliet Obituary
Edward E. Balliet, 87, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Slocum Township, he was the son of the late Oscar and Dora (Whitebread) Balliet.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Lady Ester, Vaughn's Bakery and Carl Balliet Construction and also owned Ed Balliet Nursery.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were brothers, Henry, Rolland, Carl, James, Gerald, Robert, and George, and sisters, Mary Freeman, Elsie Smith, and Dorothy Moyer.
Surviving are his sister, Florence Drum, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held in Mt. Zion Church of Christ, 438 Lilly Lake Road, Wapwallopen, at 11 a.m. Dec. 20
McCune Funeral Service assisted the family with the arrangements.
