Frank Sromovski Obituary
Frank P. Sromovski Jr. of Wilkes-Barre Township passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Dec. 1, 1952, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Ethel Gelsleichter Sromovski.
Frank was a 1970 graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School. He was employed for 41 years as a conductor and brakeman on the Norfolk/Southern Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ann Hynes, and brother-in-law, Harry Hynes.
Surviving are his wife, the former Linda Kimsal; brothers, Paul Sromovski and his wife, Sharon, of Wilkes-Barre Township, Michael and Joseph Sromovski, both of Wilkes-Barre Township, Donald Sromovski and his wife, Vicki, of Bear Creek, and David Sromovski and his wife, Debra, of Ponte Vedra, Fla.; and sisters, Patricia Gurnari and her husband, Anthony, of Edwardsville, and Mary Beth Delaney of Wilkes-Barre Township.
Private funeral services and interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, were held by the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
