Fred Cefalo Obituary
WEST PITTSTON — Fred Cefalo, 71, of West Pittston, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2024. Surviving is his wife of almost 34 years, the former Mary Lynn Sapiego. A memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in St. Anthony's Church, of St. Barbara's Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

I am deeply sorry for your loss of your husband, Dad, and brother. Although Freddie was my cousin... all three of the Cefalo boys were an extension of my family as Aunt Rose and my mom were inseparable growing up. Freddie touched everyone in his life. His generosity, love and support can never be replaced... please hold & cherish these memories close. I hope you find comfort knowing his spirit will ALWAYS be with you. It is so sad to hear of Fred's passing. We graduated from WA in 1970 & were in the same homeroom in our Senior year. Fred was always fun to be around & had a mischievous way about him. We are so sorry to learn of Freddy´s death. We spent many years growing up together (although some would say we matured slowly). I would not change any of our times together with our group of WP friends. Freddy was unique and genuine.. what you saw and what you heard from him was straight forward and honest. Many many fond memories and experiences from those early years filled with some mischief but mostly fun. He never was and will not be forgotten.

Mary Lynn & Freddie,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Freddie's passing.
He and I were Maintenance Journeymen at Owens Illinois/Techneglas.
I have many fond memories of working with him and his ability to keep us laughing.
He was genuinely a good person.
After Techeglas, my wife had the opportunity to work with Freddie at Pride Mobility.
We both will certainly miss him but, never forget him.
My heart goes out to you for this tremendous loss.
