George McCracken Obituary
George A. McCracken, 73, of Duryea, died Oct. 23, 2025. George is survived by his wife, Mary Miller McCracken. Memorial services for George will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday with the AMVETS Honor Guard of Greater Pittston providing military honors at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Friends may call for visitation from 5 p.m. to service time.

George, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
