Giuseppe Massari Obituary

TUNKHANNOCK — Giuseppe "Joe" Massari, 83, of Tunkhannock, died Saturday morning, March 12, 2016, at the Golden LivingCenter, Tunkhannock.

He was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Italy and he was the son of the late Antonio Massari. Giuseppe was a supervisor of the Endicott Johnson Shoe Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Giuseppe was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret White, who passed away in 2002.

Giuseppe is survived by sons, Joe and Antonio; daughters, Lena Bennett and Cindy VanDermark, all of Tunkhannock; and five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Deacon Raymond A. Pieretti officiating. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call 9 a.m. to service at the funeral home.

Harold "butch" and josie sands

Butch & Josie are sorry we couldn't be at Joe's service. We have fond memories of butch teaching him to drive butch's standard shift car. He was a great husband, father, cousin and friend. Sorry we couldn't visit with the family and share our memories.
