Our sincere condolences to your family from ours. My Dad, Tom Hart Sr of Ashley, either worked with Mr. Slamon for the IRS or took courses from him at Wilkes. Mom and Dad told me this morning of his passing.
God Bless.

Dear Dot, Jim, Janie and Nancy, I was sorry to read of your loss in the Times Leader this morning. Jim and I had many fun times together in our 13 years at the office. I learned more from Jim and Joe Slamon than anyone else in my lifetime. They were great guys and really knew their stuff! My memories of the tax parties and the many evening and weekend hours spent during tax seasons were some of my best. Jim had a way of making the long grueling and sometimes frustrating hours seem like fun. I will always remember him fondly. The last time I saw any of you was at Joe's funeral. But even though we do not run into one another please know your entire family is often on my mind and you are all in the my prayers at this sad time. I hope all of you and yours are doing well. And again I am very sorry for your loss. Colleen Nat DiRisio. (Yeah I was foolish enough to get remarried.) Your dad used to say "Anyone who gets married the second time did not deserve their first divorce." I can hear him saying that now.
