Jean Brennan Obituary
Jean A. Brennan, 81, of Hanover Township, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Special Care Hospital, Nanticoke. Born on September 13, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John Homnick and Freda Croughn. Jean was a wonderful mother who loved raising her children and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite activities included picnics, watching movies and going out to eat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers John and Elmer Homnick. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Martin, Dale (Kathy Eddy), and David Brennan; daughter, Debbie Villano; grandchildren, Gail, Erica and Rachael Brennan; brothers Dale (Peggy) Homnick, New Jersey, and Leo and Mike Croughn, Wilkes-Barre; and sisters, Phyllis Bafunno, Mountain Top; Ruth Yermal, White Haven; and Mary (Gary) Russel, Wilkes-Barre. The service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Online condolences can be sent to www.BestLifeTributes.com . The family requests that flowers be omitted.

So sorry for the loss of a great woman, I have some very special memories with a woman who would have me at her house anytime to laugh, cry or just visit with her and her kids, god bless you Jean you will be surely missed!!!
