Jessica Helfrich Obituary
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Jessica Lynn Helfrich, 34, was born July 24, 1983, in Jacksonville, N.C. She was the beautiful daughter of Donna and Ted Zieba, of Edwardsville, and George Helfrich Jr., of Maryland.
Jessica passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Boca Raton, Fla. Jessica was a very bright, beautiful girl. She was very caring and generous with a huge heart. She was a graduate of LCCC and Wilkes University, and she worked for many years as a paralegal.
Jessica loved going to the beach, enjoyed reading about history and spending time with her family and dogs.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Celestine Joan Simon, paternal grandparent, George Helfrich, and her beloved dogs, Cinnamon and Rocky.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are sister, Amanda Zieba, grandmother "Nana" Kay Helfrich, godparents, Bonnie and Mark Chackan, and aunts, Tracee, Karen, Diane, Elizabeth and Kathy; uncles, Mike, Joe, Carl, Andy and Tony; numerous cousins, Angie, Johnny and Tony; and friends, her beloved godchild, Dawn Celestine Katcko, and her best buddies, Miseic, Duke, Lucky, Louie and Rambo. They will surely miss their mommy.
Funeral services will be held at Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, 136 Maffett St., Plains. Viewing will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 9:30 Monday. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Division Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be at St. Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenburg.
Everyone who knew Jessica loved her sparklingly bright eyes and beautiful sweet smile. We will truly miss our Jessica. This earth will not be the same without you but heaven has got another beautiful angel. Jessica will be greatly missed by her mom, who was her best friend and mentor. Jessica, we love you and will miss you. Love, your family.
