John Sopp Obituary
John Sopp, 74, of Kingston, passed away Nov. 14, 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, in St. Nicholas-St. Mary Parish, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church on Thursday.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to St. Nicholas-St. Mary Parish, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
