Julia Fanti Obituary

KINGSTON — Julia D. Kubisiak Fanti, 94, formerly of Dupont, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Kingston Health Care Center.

Born in Dupont on June 19, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Gabriella Panuski. She was a graduate of Kingston High School.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Frank Kubisiak and Armando Fanti; sister, Josephine Roman; and brothers, Peter, Ambrose and Walter Panuski.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Lavin and her husband, David, Franklin Township, and Barbara Tokay, Reston, Virginia; brother, John Panuski, Dupont; grandchildren, Renee Lavin Powers and Stephen Lavin; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Friday morning at a time to be announced in St. Barbara Parish, 28 Memorial St., Exeter. Visitation will be half an hour before the funeral mass. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kingston Health Care Center, 702 3rd St., Kingston, PA 18704.

Arrangements are by Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church Street, Pittston.
