Kyle Robert Hazleton passed away suddenly on April 8, 2017, in Seattle, Wash.
Born and raised in Dallas, he attended Westmoreland School and graduated from Dallas High School in 2007.
"LIVE LIFE" was his motto and that he did! Kyle attended University of California, LCCC and graduated from MIT in Phoenix, Ariz. He landed a job in Seattle, Wash., at "Sound Harley Davidson," which he enjoyed, along with the Northwest experience. His charm, wit and outgoing personality will be remembered by his many friends and family. He will always be with us.
Kyle was a member of Shavertown United Methodist Church and an Eagle Scout with Troop 281, Dallas. When he faced challenges in life, he would often say, "I can do it – I'm an Eagle Scout!" He was involved in many sports, but wrestling was No. 1 for him, thanks to the influence of coach and longtime friend, Bob Jesse. Kyle enjoyed skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting, shooting pool, but mostly riding the "Harley." We were blessed to have him for 28 years.
He is survived by parents, Keith and Connie (Loke) Hazleton; brothers, Michael, Doug and Terry Ogle; grandparents, Bob and Phyllis Hazleton, of Nanticoke; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Jeff Leisner and Ryan Desander.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. A memorial tribute will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Kunkle Community Hall. For those who wish to remain, a reception will follow the service on Saturday.

Keith, Connie, Michael and Family, We are so deeply saddened to hear about Kyle. He was such a delightful little boy who grew up to be a caring and loving young man. We are grateful that we got the opportunity to know him. And treasure those memories of cub scouts, boy scouts and having him be our server at TGIF. You all are in our thoughts and our prayers as you go through this difficult time and all the days that lay ahead. Sending our Love, Bob and Paula Glicini
