Lisa E. Fischer, 58, of Duryea, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. Due to anticipated inclement weather, services for Lisa E. Fischer have been changed to the following: a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson St., Duryea. A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea.

I met Lisa when I had VSP vision She thought I was her rep. I had to say no no I have VSP vision. From then on I had little to say about my glasses my wife and her took care of all. I lost a good very friend and excellent person to trust fitting my glasses. To her family and her staff my beapest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of Lisa´s passing, she was a firecracker in the office and always offered me plants, food, fresh harvested whatever. She kept me up to date on her life and ALWAYS asked about my kids by name. I will keep Lisa in my prayers
