Margaret M. Lehman, a lifelong resident of Nanticoke, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at the age of 81.
She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Lazor. Marge was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerard G. Lehman, in 2010.
Marge graduated from Nanticoke High School and was a devoted member of St. Faustina Kowalska Parish in Nanticoke. Marge held a secretarial position at McGregor Sportswear Company in Nanticoke and later worked at Kmart. She and Gerard worked side by side at Newtown Cafe for over 25 years. Following Gerard's death, Marge remained working as a waitress for nine more years.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow and sharing in their milestones. Her grandchildren, Joshua and Julia Foust, will deeply miss their "Nana." Marge had a passion for cooking and baking. At every party and wedding shower, she made her famous Kruschicki along with many other baked goods. After retirement, she and Gerard liked to travel, especially to Atlantic City.
Marge is survived by her daughter, Michele Foust, and her husband, Allen, of Mountain Top; son, Gerard, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren, Joshua and Julia Foust; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sister Mary Seraphima.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude Parish, 420 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, on Saturday, Dec. 6. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. in St. Jude Church Narthex, and Mass will begin at noon. The Rev. Joseph J. Evanko will officiate. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
