DUPONT — Nancy Klimek, 82, of Dupont, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Dupont on Oct. 8, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Sally (Walsh) Ketcho. Nancy was a graduate of Dupont High School. After high school, she worked in the local garment industry, then was employed by Valley Crest Nursing Facility as a nurses aide until her retirement. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Peter, Fred and George Ketcho.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Klimek; daughter Coleen Lacomis and her husband, Jeff, of West Wyoming; grandchildren Amanda Kowalczyk and her husband, Raymond, of Jenkins Township, and Samantha Lacomis, of West Wyoming; great-granddaughter Makenzie Lasota and a soon-to-be great-grandson; plus many nieces and nephews.
Nancy's family would like to thank Dr. Kadir and the staff of Geisinger ICU for the kindness, care and support they have shown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont, with Fr. Thomas Petro officiating. Interment will be held at the parish cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.

To the family of my cousin Nancy, God bless her and her mom aunt Sally. She was like another aunt , and Sally was like another grandmother. My mom Ann Elaine now has another family member tcome home and be with her in heaven. I am happy they are all together again. May her soul rest in peace.
