MOUNTAIN TOP — Patricia Alice Truszkowski, 84, of Mountain Top, passed away Thursday April 18, 2024, peacefully in her home with her family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Cecelia (Golon) Driscoll. Pat graduated from Hanover Memorial High School in 1957 and was voted sweetheart of her graduating class. She then attended beauty school at Bradford Beauty Academy. While attending beauty school she worked at Consolidated Cigar, and Faith Shoe Company.
Pat was the proud owner and operator of Miss Pat's Beauty Salon in Hanover Township for close to 20 years. She married the love of her life, Peter Truszkowski, and became a mother and homemaker, but continued hairdressing at home for the next 30 years. Pat loved doing everyone's hair in her home shop.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, nana and neighbor. Pat was an elegant woman and enjoyed driving her blue convertible. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her sister, Molly, getting their hair and nails done, and taking frequent shopping trips. Pat loved watching her grandchildren grow up across the street and spending time with them while thoroughly supporting and loving them.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband, Peter Truszkowski; and her brother, Gerald Driscoll.
Surviving are her son, Mark Truszkowski and wife, Jaimie; a daughter, Pam; a sister, Molly Brodhead; grandchildren: Molly, Marisa and Cade; a bonus daughter, Lisa Argenziano; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Good Shepherd Polish National Church, Plymouth. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.

I cannot even express in words how shocked I was to read Pat's obituary. I live in NJ now and didn't know that she was sick. She and Pete were our best friends these past 20 years and we enjoyed each other's company. Pat was a wonderful person and a loving and dedicated wife to Pete. My sympathies go out to Molly and Mark and her grandchildren. No one could ever replace her caring ways who loved everybody. I will miss her.

Mrs. T,
My children are better people for having known your gentle and kind heart. Having you in our life for 24 years has been beyond a blessing. We all enjoyed every event, day, and occasion spent with you.
The day I became a mother and I experienced the profound gift of Gods unconditional love, it was then I admired you the most. It was then that I saw your strength, resilience, and self-respect. You showed us all how to have dignity, grace and positivity even when you were crushed with complicity.
My wish for you is that you are having a great time, have all of your unanswered questions, and you throw us a pink string every now and then. Till we meet again! I will stick up for Mark.
Good Morning!
Lisa, Jon, Simon & Roger

Please accept my sincere condolences on Pat's passing. She was a remarkable woman, friend and neighbor. I have so many memories visiting with her, Pete and my Dad, cutting Dad's hair and listening to their memories flow. I picture Pat being welcomed at the gates by Pete, playing his accordion.
