WILKES-BARRE — Peter Rivera, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, died Jan. 23, 2021. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing required.

Uncle Peter was my superhero. He always knew what to say and always treated me like his own daughter. He was my voice of reason and my heart is heavy. I know his in a better place and no longer suffering in pain. I wish I got one last time to say goodbye but I have 38 years of beautiful memories. I love you and you will be truly and deeply missed.
