Princeton Armani Stokes-Bernard, 4 months old, passed away at home on Oct. 3, 2018.
Princeton was born June 4, 2018, in Wilkes-Barre, the son of Simone Stokes and Shameek Bernard. He was born three months early at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and spent the last couple of months at Moses Taylor NICU in Scranton. We want to thank the nurses for taking extra care of our prince.
You were our little fighter and miracle baby. You brought so much joy and happiness to our growing family but God needed you to continue your good deeds in heaven. You will definitely be missed by all.
Surviving are his sister, Nakiyah Hampton; brother Josiah Bernard; cousins Amaya, Braylon and Camdin Stokes; grandparents Kevin (Angela) Stokes, of Mountain Top, Leaundra Luck, Shenique Johnson, of Wilkes-Barre, and Patrick Bernard, of New York; uncles Marquise (Emily) Stokes, of Quakertown, Dashaun Stokes, of Wilkes-Barre, Kerrin, and Kaseem and Kirsten Johnson, of New York; great-aunt Stefanie (Clinton) Cole, of Wilkes-Barre; and great-grandparents Mattie (Charles) Bradley, of Wilkes-Barre, and Judy Gentry, of New York.
Homecoming services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at Plains United Methodist Church, 133 N. Main St., Plains Township, with the Rev. Dr. Paul Amara officiating.
