I graduated from Coughlin in '72 and had Mr. McGuire as a teacher. I remember him being one of the coolest teachers, with a great sense of humor, strict but fair, and had a great rapport with the students. He was my favorite!

I was very saddened to read of his passing and just wanted to extend my sincere sympathy to the family.

He was truly one of a kind.

To the Mcguire family: A true gentleman with that old dry Irish sense of humor and one great basketball coach. He will be missed by all who knew him because his kind does not come along everyday. God bless and keep you in this time of sorrow. Jim Dougherty and family of Poplar st. W-b,Pa.
