Rose Nat
R ose M. Nat, 79, formerly of Raritan, NJ, died Sunday at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ.
She was born in Plains Twp., a daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie Tomascik Dernyar. Mrs. Nat was formerly employed by the Ortho Pharmaceutical Company in Raritan, NJ. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Wharton, NJ.
She was also a member of the Wharton and Rockaway Senior Citizens Clubs and a volunteer at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Nat, in 1990; brother, Stephen Dernyar; and a sister, Mary Consavage.
Surviving are son Ronald J. Nat and his wife, Patricia, Wharton, NJ; granddaughters Amanda and Melissa Nat, Nutley, NJ; former daughter-in-law Theresa Collins, Nutley, NJ; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart/St. John’s Church, 601 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
