Besides caring for her own family, Nan devoted over 20 years being a gourmet chef, housekeeper, and caring for the priests at St. Mary's Church of the Maternity rectory, Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre as well as Holy Family Parish, Sugar Notch.
She was a devoted catholic, praying the rosary daily. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sugar Notch for most of her life and a member of its Christian Mothers. Nan will be lovingly remembered for cooking and feeding everyone. She was everyone's "Nan" and touched the lives of everyone she met, and they became like family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frank, she was preceded by her beloved granddaughter, Bethany Lynn Pilch; her brothers, Ralph, Rocco, Louie, and John Yanora; and a sister, Carmella Kunis.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Frank Pilch Jr. (Donna), Matthew Pilch (Patricia), Leonard Pilch (Joanne), and Donna Pilch-Myers (Charles); 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Louise Byndas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

My deepest condolences to the Pilch family on the passing of your wonderful Mom. Rose was loved by so many people. I remember all the fun shared by your Mom with your Dad and all his siblings, including Uncle Andy and Cioci Josie . We were just a bunch of hyper kids running about the yard. Your Mom continued that wave of fun with you , your children, and grandchildren. These memories will last forever. God Bless!

My Deepest Sympathy to Donna Pilch-Myers and all the Pilch's who are my cousins through my father Frank (Fritzie) Yankoski. He grew up in Warrior Run. On Front St. His parents were Adam and Josephine Kizielewicz Yankoski. All the Kizielewicz's & Kish's in Warrior Run are my family. I grew up in Nanticoke, PA. I never knew I was related to the Pilch's until I went on Ancestry DNA.
So Donna I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Rose was one of my CCD teachers at St. Mary's Church of the Maternity on Park Avenue.
