Ruth Miriam Stolarik, 89, of Charlotte, N.C., passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in Matthews, N.C.
Born in Luzerne County, Pa., on Nov. 9, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Ruth Lamoreaux.
She enjoyed old movies, country music and family. She will most be remembered for the love she had for her children and grandchildren, as they meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Alexander John Stolarik; a son, Paul Stolarik; daughter, Patricia Palmer; great-grandson, Cody Reilly; sister, Edith Baranski; and nephew, Jack Baranski Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Alexander Stolarik and wife, Liz, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; John Stolarik, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Michael Stolarik and wife, Kathryn, of Waxhaw, N.C.; Kenneth Stolarik and wife, Nila, of Yuma, Ariz.; and James Stolarik, of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters, Ruthann Jacobson, of Arlington, Texas; Marie Ogin and husband, Richard, of Lawton, Okla.; Edith Hinds and husband David, of Aurora, Colo.; and Maureen Franco, of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters-in-law, Mary Heaps, of Nescopeck, Pa.; and Denise Huchingson, of Jasper, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at Heritage Funeral Home — Indian Trail Chapel, Indian Trail, N.C.
