Samuel Argo Obituary

Samuel Dino Argo, affectionately known as "Danny," of Pittston, passed away peacefully on July 18, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Samuel "Zip" and Albina Sciotta Argo.

Danny was a cherished friend, a dedicated public servant, a natural comedian and a masterful storyteller whose energy and warmth could brighten any room. A gifted musician, he was considered a local legend, known not only for his remarkable talent but for the way his music united people and created lasting memories. Danny took great pride in his Italian heritage and carried that pride with him throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving children, Andria and her husband, Joseph Gannecilli, Pittston Township; Dino Argo, Exeter; and Salvatore Argo and his wife, Kathy, Playa del Carmen, Mexico; his devoted sister, Nina Argo-Padula, and her husband, Frank; and is dear nephews, Salvatore Biscotto and his wife, Paola; and Joseph Biscotto and his wife, Georgette. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

Danny's legacy lives on in the music he shared, the laughter he sparked, and the love he gave so generously. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the light he brought into the lives of others, a presence that will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 S. Twp. Blvd., Pittston Twp., PA 18640.

My sympathy to the family of my old friend Danny. Danny and I shared a lot in common. We were both musicians, were involved in politics and had a flare for comedy. He served the citizens in Pittston well with results and honesty. Now, he can share his music with the angels in Heaven. God Bless
