TRUCKSVILLE — Saralee (Cohen) Colson, 90, of Trucksville, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, 2016, in Celtic Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Fannie (Heller) Cohen, loved music, especially opera, was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, Wilkes-Barre, and other civic and religious organizations.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Chester Colson; and sisters, Doris Betty, Hope and Muriel.
Saralee is survived by daughters, Leslie Baltimore Harris and her husband, David, Dallas; Anne Baltimore Doty and her husband, Michael, Syracuse, N.Y.; grandchildren, Benjamin, Jenna, Michael, Katie and Janet; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be held noon Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, in Temple Israel Cemetery, Denison Street, Swoyersville. Shiva will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, and 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, David and Leslie Harris, 15 Glen Riddle Lane, Dallas.

Dear Annie and Leslie and family, I am very sorry and sadden by your loss, your mother was a wonderful woman who gave me tons of support when I had my surgery last year and beyond.
