WILKES-BARRE — Stephen S. Zavatsky, 93, of Wilkes-Barre, died Dec. 22, 2021. Funeral services for Stephen will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

When Steve married my sister I was as happy as she was. I knew she married a good man , a true gentleman, kind and caring. It not only enriched her life , it enriched our whole families! Your lives together were inspiring .
Till we meet again Steve, your pain is over! Enjoy an eternal life , where there´s a fish with every cast, blueberries the size of plums, the Patriots never lose , a cat on your lap and Polka music blaring in the pristine air!
