It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband and father, Theodore Kravitz, 87, of Nanticoke, on St. Valentine's Day, 2025.
He was born in the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke to Edward and Victoria Kravitz. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his wife of 66 years, Regina, and his family. He was known as "Teddy" to all, and also known as "Todzu" to his childhood friends. Teddy was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was kind and generous and a true gentleman.
Teddy was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and Penn State University and was employed by Martin & Rodgers Engineering in Wilkes-Barre. The nuns at Holy Trinity School in Nanticoke served him well in teaching him his perfect penmanship. He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Parish in Nanticoke and a true believer in Jesus Christ.
After retirement he was involved with his family at Maureen's Ice Cream where he loved being near his family. He put meticulous care into his home garden and grew the biggest and best tomatoes in the valley and became a seasoned grill master. Growing up, he started working at 8 years old at the local farms to help support his parents and siblings. He spent many winters in Florida with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Victoria; and his brothers: Kazmir and Edward.
Surviving are his wife, Regina Senczakowicz (Sinco) Kravitz; son, Larry and his wife, Annie, of Nanticoke; daughters: Janine Bezek and husband, John, of Wilkes-Barre; Mary Jo Schneikart, of Wilkes-Barre; Angel Nadolny and husband, John, of Nanticoke; and Kerry Kravitz, of Nanticoke; grandchildren: Eric, Heather, Steven, Taylor, Lauren, Kaitlin, Megan, Ryan, Karalee, Brandon, Cassidy, Kyle and Ava; great-grandchildren: Cailey, Lacey, Luna, Claire, Oliver, Sage Theodore, Luke, Lainey and Theo; sister, Barbara Aument and husband, Lee; brother-in-law, Joseph Senczakowicz and wife, Suzy; sister-in-law, Debra and husband, Lee Jacobs; and many nieces and nephews.
As Teddy requested, there will be a private service.
Dad, we all love you and will miss you.

I am sorry sad to see the passing of your husband/dad. Your house was like a second home to me growing up! Always liked seeing you at garage sales. Love to all of you.
