Thomas Anthony Davis, 78, of Edwardsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at Lakewood Rehab.
Born Jan. 17, 1947, he was the son of the late Robeling and Dorothy (Lambert) Davis. Thomas was employed for many years as a maintenance technician with Knox Co., where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature.
A lifelong sports fan, Thomas enjoyed cheering for his favorite teams — the Philadelphia Phillies, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the New York Giants. He was also a devoted member of the former St. Anthony's Church, where he shared his faith and friendships over the years.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Leona Dudascik; and his infant brother, James Davis. He is survived by his loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will remember him fondly for his kindness, sense of humor, and gentle spirit.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, to honor and celebrate Thomas's life from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville. Visitation will be held from noon until time of service. Interment will follow in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Larksville.

To the family of Tommy . I am very sorry for your loss . Tommy lived across the street from me and we went to grade school and high school together . We had many good times together growing up in Larksville and Edwardsville . I haven´t seen him in many many years but I often thought about him . Thoughts and prayers are with you all . Danny Blaine
