Baden - Agnes C. Rhodes, 89, of Baden, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice- Beaver.
Born November 10, 1931 in Freedom, Aggie was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angeline (Tomaine) DeDominicis. She was a graduate of Freedom High School where she was a majorette. Aggie was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Baden where she was a Christian Mother and loved making pierogis. She was also talented in sewing, baking, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gay E. Rhodes in 2007; 2 grandsons, Patrick B. and Alexander M. Gaudino; 5 brothers, John, Richard, Thomas, William and Raymond; and 2 sisters, Regina and Toni Schooley.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Alfred) Gaudino; a son, Jeffrey (Philip Cynar) Rhodes; 3 granddaughters, Krystal (Jesse) Kier, Megan Gaudino, McKenzie Rhodes and her mother Kristi Rhodes; 3 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy, Abram, Benji and Kit; a brother, Lawrence (Aggie) DeDominicis; 4 sisters, Anneta Bobish, Joann Flook, Joyce Porter, and Janice (Jim) Sarver; also, many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Wednesday, July 28th at 12:30 pm at St. John the Baptist Church- 375 Linmore Ave., Baden, Pa 15005. Fr. Joe Carr will officiate.
Inurnment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
Memorial contributions can be made in Aggie's name to Good Samaritan Hospice- 1000 Dutch Ridge Road Beaver, Pa 15009.
