Conway - Bruce A. Kirchner, 70, of Conway passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at Heritage Valley Sewickley.
Born February 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Lewis W. and Ethel C. (Burckart) Kirchner. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Lewis E., Marlene Kerr(Dallas), Frederick J. (Roberta), Kenneth R. and Barbara Tyrone.
At birth, Bruce joined his five siblings at home in Beaver.
The family moved to Rochester and later to Conway. Bruce was a 1969 graduate of Freedom Area High School. He served with the U.S.P.S. for 35 years, retiring in 2006. Bruce enjoyed playing softball and bowling. He also enjoyed his time at the Conway Croation Club, and the Conway V.F.W. In addition to his parents and siblings he was preceded in death by four nephews, Timothy D. Kirchner, Michael K. Kirchner, Dallas P. Kerr III and James F. Kirchner. Bruce is survived by his sister-in-law, Beverly, 13 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and -nephews and 8 great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to come together at a Memorial to be held on Saturday, July 31at at the Conway Croatian Club,1412 2nd Avenue, Conway. The memorial will begin at 3:00 p.m. followed by a meal. Cremation services were provided by Ball Funeral Home, Pittsburgh, PA.

As a classmate of Bruce from the FAHS class of `69 I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing! What a great, fun guy! My deepest sympathies to all of his family members. I have such fond memories of him from high school. He always had a smile and was just fun to be around.

I am so very sorry I could not make it to the Memorial Service for Bruce as I planned, my plans got interrupted! My deepest sympathy to his entire family! Bruce was a good guy!
