Carol Greiner Obituary
New Brighton - Carol Jean (Blinn) Greiner, 75, of New Brighton, passed away suddenly Sunday March 14, 2021 at her home.
Born February 16, 1946 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Schriver) Blinn. She was a retired teacher for the Aliquippa School District, where she had taught high school Home Economics for 20 years and then special education in the elementary school until retirement. She was a volunteer for the Vicary House, Freedom and was a member of the International Organization of Lace.
Surviving are her daughter Laura J. Kowalski, with who she resided, one grandson Dylan Turnbull, one granddaughter Amanda Turnbull, two great grandchildren Arllo Turnbull and Javontae Globe, two brothers Richard and his wife Nori Blinn, Industry, Raymond and his wife Terri Blinn, Delaware, OH, several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 and Saturday from 10:00am until time of blessing service at 11:00am in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton.
Cremation will take place after the service.
In lieu of flowers the wish memorials be made in her name to the New Brighton Public Library, 1021 Third Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066.

Carol was a very dear friend who put a smile on my face when we saw each other. I met her many many years ago and lost touch until she joined our church and it was a great reunion. May her memories bring some gladness to your grief.

I met Carol 30 years ago and had an opportunity to reconnect about three years ago. It was a joy to get to know her again. I am so sorry that she was taken away by such a tragic accident. May love and peace follow her into eternity.

Sending condolences to the family. Mrs Greiner was one of my favorite teachers in school. She was always patient and she didn´t mind me asking a lot of questions pertaining to cooking. Sending prayers to the family.
