Cheryl Smith Obituary
Aliquippa - Cheryl Smith, 67, of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 16, 1954, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late William and Dolores (Skiba) McPherson.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Terry Smith; her devoted daughter, Shannon (Frank) Lucas; two grandchildren, Robby and Tommy; her siblings, Denise (Louis) Stempler and Bill (Paula) McPherson; her loving nieces and nephews, Shea (Jeff) George, Justin (Kathryn) Stempler, Alexandra (Chris) McPherson, William McPherson and Ryan McPherson; her favorite canine companions, Abbie and Reilly, and Buttons Muldoon, Kasey, Sassy and Peabody, in Doggie Heaven, and countless friends and extended family members.
The family would like to thank her special nephew Will, for all his loving care and kindness throughout Cheryl's illness.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 4pm to 7pm at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA, 15001, where a service will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, at 11am.
Private entombment will take place at Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum, Beaver, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of one's choice.
Cheryl will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving, and generous person who will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Cheryl was one of our earliest childhood friends, growing up together on Linmar, and sharing a life-long bond through school years at St. Titus and Quigley, along with memorable summers of Barbies and biking, swimming and Archie comics, evening softball games and endless hide-and- seek. “Forever friends” to our family, even when life brought moves and long separations, it also gave joyful reunions. It is hard to speak of Cheryl “in remembrance”. We were blessed to share so much of life with her, and her joy, kindness, and loving heart are the gifts she leaves. May God bless her family with loving comfort, and may God bless Cheryl with heavenly peace.

My earliest memories of Cheryl are of playing at Linmar, summers at Plan 12 pool and years of school adventures at St Titus and Quigley. What a lovely person- always. Her kindness and beautiful smile will be missed.

Although I was two years behind Cheryl in school, I got to know her best through my cousin Bernadette. Her laugh and smile were infectious and her kindness and friendliness will never be forgotten. She was a blessing and model to all who knew and met her. My condolences go out to her family and friends. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Cheryl through my sister (Nancy Miller Moxcey) as early as her St. Titus Grade School days and what a beautiful person....so kind, fun, generous, etc. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this most difficult time.
