I only met him once. We purchased the house in 1969 on E. Washington St in Rochester once owned by his mother and dad. While we were making some improvements we found some really old pictures nestled in the floorboards in the attic. I traced them the his parents who lived there before. We contacted them (Jim and his wife) and asked them to come to the house. They gave us some info about how the house was originally set up. The photos were of his grandmother as a baby. She was dressed in a long white gown with brown boots. There were other photos of his family that we then gave to him and his wife. My daughter now owns the house and her name is Elizabeth and her husband is John!! The names of Jim's parents and the original owners of the house!!! My sincere sympathy for the loss of your father. I just thought you would want to hear this cute story about my meeting him.
