Margaret Beres-Pensy
South Beaver Township - Margaret Ann Beres-Pensy, 87 of South Beaver Township, formerly of North Sewickley Township passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.
Born on June 29, 1934 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Barnett) Yovich.
Margaret was a housekeeper for Ellwood City Hospital for many years, and in her later years worked at the YMCA in childcare. She enjoyed golfing in leagues around Beaver County and was a member of the North Sewickley Fire Department Lady's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Emil Mark (Jodi) Beres, Jr. and Julia (Aaron) Rankin, and her stepdaughter Lucille Burson, as well as her grandchildren: Emily Beres and Amelia (Antonio) Valenzuela, and great grandson: Samuel Valenzuela, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Emil Beres, her son: Matthew Beres, and her siblings: George, Nicholas, Frederick, Martha, and Mildred.
In accordance with her wishes, all services were private. Interment was in Little Beaver Cemetery.
Margaret's family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to Billie at AHN Hospice for her compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AHN Hospice, 4 Allegheny Square E #603, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, or Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Broadhead Rd. Aliquippa, PA 15001.
The GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave, New Brighton assisted the family with arrangements.
