Bobby Culwell, 82, peacefully passed on November, 20, 2018.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett, Texas with Rev. Joe Coombes, officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley of Burkburnett. The family will receive friends between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
He was born April 16, 1936, in Randlett, Oklahoma to Lavada and Joe Culwell. Bobby spent his childhood in Randlett, Oklahoma. He traveled all of the state of Texas for his career and eventually settled in Dallas, Texas. He has spent his later years enjoying time with family and friends underneath the brim of a cowboy hat and always with a pair of cowboy boots on his feet. He has endlessly been ready for a fun time and never wanted to miss a gathering.
Bobby is survived by his children, LaFonda Culwell, Cindy Novak and husband, Rick, Johnny Culwell and wife, Donna, Robert Culwell and Doris; and Danny Witt; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, LaVon, and two brothers, Kenneth and JoeDon.

I will be thinking of the family as you say your final good bye to your loved one. Bobby knew where he was going. He has already talked to Jesus. He is happy now, no pain, whole again, and getting to see his baby sister, both brothers, his Mother and Daddy, and Mother of 4 of his children. Bobby was a great friend, and will be missed.
