Donald Keith Dill, Sr. 84, of Allen, Texas, previously of Wichita Falls passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
Don was born on December 20, 1933 in Geary, Oklahoma to the late Glen Austin Dill and Sylvia Lois (Scott) Dill. On September 29, 1991 he married Molly VanLoh. Don served in the Army as part of the Baker Company 130th Infantry Regiment and the Headquarters Company of the 135th Field Artillery Battalion. He began working in the elevator industry in 1958 and retired from Otis Elevator in 1994. He was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church, he loved his country, and his greatest passion in life was spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by Nadeen (Winters) Dill, wife of 32 years; a daughter, Lois Deen Reinhardt; and brother Glen Austin Dill.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Molly Dill of Allen; his children, son, Don and wife Merrolee of Allen, daughter, Samie and husband, Brad of Rowlett, daughter, Debbie and husband, Tim of Forney, daughter, LaDonna and husband, Dan of Dallas, son-in-law, Monte and wife, Janet Reinhardt of Midland; siblings, Joe E. Dill of Casper, Wyoming and Delores Grunewald of Mutual, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Sarah, Jennifer, William, Chad, Chayce, Jessie, Daniel, and Zach; 12 great-grandchildren, Highland, Copeland, Scotland, Preston, Connor, Meghan, Kambri, Kameron, Archer, Morgan, Charlie, and Caroline; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; and friends.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls on Saturday, September 22, 2018 with Reverends Jim Goodwin and Dan Watkins, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Molly, we were sad to hear of your loss yesterday. I enjoyed working with Don those years with Otis. He was a special person during my time with the elevator world. Sorry we did not make it to the services. We know how much he will be missed by you, the family and all his friends. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you, but we have all the special memories to help with the sadness.

I have such great memories of Mr. and Mrs. Dill when I attended St. Mark's as a child. He was such a great man and I was honored to know him.
