Madeline Swanson Obituary
The family will be holding a private family Celebration of Life. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.
Madeline was born January 24, 1996 in Wichita Falls to Erik and Donna Dalton Swanson. She was a graduate of Ryder High School and attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Madeline worked for D and S Residential Services in Wichita Falls.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Pierce and husband, Chris of Archer City; her father, Erik Swanson of Beavercreek, Ohio; 2 brothers, Christian Swanson and wife, Anna of Las Vegas, Nevada and Bode Pierce of Archer City; a sister, Rachel Swanson and her partner Megan Wagner of Fairborn, Ohio; grandparents, Bettye Dalton of Seymour and Earl Swanson of Ferndale, Michigan and a niece, Evelyn Swanson.

Sweet sweet Maddy, I am so sorry sweet angel that this happened! Nicole loved you so very much and I keep replaying the memories of you two laughing and having a blast together at our house. You were a very special soul and beautiful on the inside and out! You'll be sorely missed but are now an angel looking over us. Rip sweet girl!

My deepest sympathy to Madeline's family and all who loved her. I had the privilege of knowing Madeline as a friend of my granddaughter. She was one of the sweetest most well mannered young ladies I have ever met. She was always welcomed in my home and I looked forward to her visits. She has left a lasting impression on my heart and will be forever remembered and loved by me and my granddaughter. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel.

I remember working with her when she was a freshman at Rider. I was a senior and Thespian president. I knew she had a special spark in her heart and she was an amazing young woman. It breaks my heart that I didn't get to know her more closely. She always did everything she could to help others--physically, emotionally, or mentally-- whatever the issue, she was there for advice, support, and friendship.

My dearest angel Madeline. You were a part of our family . You are my adoptive daughter. You are a angel who loved my daughter. You were the wind beneath her wings . I will look for you in every place . I will think of you everyday. I will know that I shall see you again at the next interval of your play . I will always love you for just your presence of beauty and love you brought to me, my husband, and most of all my daughter. You are a friend , a protector, and simply an angel . I taught Maddie in eighth grade in Beavercreek, OH. She and I joked over the years that she may not have been the easiest student, but her heart was always obvious to anyone who looked. She had a beautiful smile and made me laugh. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
