David Goedel Obituary
80, of Newcomerstown passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 after a short illness. He was born on January 13, 1941, to the late Willis and Mabel (Schnitzer) Goedel in Sugarcreek, OH. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, cooking, playing cards, and camping.
He is survived by a daughter, Jamie (Tim) Schwab of Bakersville; three sons, Eric (Amy) Goedel of Fresno, Bruce (Wanda) Goedel of Strasburg, and Matthew (Jennifer) Goedel of Fresno; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney (Linda) Goedel and Jeffrey (Jacki) Goedel, both of Fresno; special friend, Corrine Doege of North Canton.
Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with graveside services to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in David's name to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW New Philadelphia, OH 44663. Online condolences may be made at www.addyfuneralhome.com.
