Emma E Kail
95, of Scio passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 17, 1920 in Tuscarawas to the late John C. and Nellie Ramella-Minor. She married Wilbert L. (Slippery) Kail on Oct. 5, 1946 and together they had two daughters, Janeen M. Kail-Scott of the home and Lu Ann L. (Neil) Youngman of Beach City. Emma worked at the Scio Pottery for over 45 years and she and Slippery owned Kail's Wholesale Supply out of their home from 1963-1967. Emma loved to dance and taught line dancing until she was 85 at several locations, but spent most of her time teaching at Carrollton Senior Center. She was also a faithful member of the Scio Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her daughters are a sister JoAnne Johnson of Bradenton, Fla; grandchildren she adored, Rob (Renee) McIntosh of Westerville, Monica (Greg) Scott and, Deaydra Scott both of New Philadelphia, Brittany Scott- Drew of Myrtle Beach, SC, R.J. Scott of Broadman, Debbie (Jim) Trolio, Linda (Tim) Norris, Elizabeth (Shannon) Myers, and Amber Doughty all of Dennison and Shannon (Jim) Albaugh of Florida; nineteen great-grandchildren and 19 great- great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a son Gary L. Jones and brothers Charles, Richard and Raymond Minor.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Koch Funeral Home, Scio. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Visser officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Scio.
