Jesse German Obituary
Age 45, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017.
Born November 12, 1971, in Dover, he was a son of Larry German of Dover and the late Rebecca Bucher German. Jesse enjoyed the outdoors and was a landscaper with April Lahman's Landscaping in New Philadelphia. He was conscientious, neat and tidy, both at work and in his personal life. Jesse liked old cars and liked to tinker. He also was a fan of NASCAR (particularly Dale Earnhardt Sr.), drag-racing, and the Cleveland Browns.
In addition to his father, Jesse is survived by his children, Patience, Chevelle, Jacob and Samantha German; his sister and brothers, Jen (Dave Metzger II) Dotto, Jim and Joe (Erin) German, all of New Philadelphia; his nieces and nephews; his great-niece and great-nephews; and his best friend, Pat Calhoun of New Philadelphia.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering Friday, April 28, 5 8 p.m. in the New Philadelphia V.F.W. (upstairs). Also, if you have an older car, bring it to honor Jesse. My sympathies to all of the family for your loss. We lived across the street from the family growing up and I babysat him when he was a little squirt! An ornery, lively bunch, but also really good sweet kids. My prayers are with all of you.

Pure sadness flooded my body and mind when i heard the news of Jesse. I was very fortunate to have been able to spend many years with Jesse and his family. To this day some of my favorite memories are of those times. Jesse was such a fun loving good friend. His silly smile and boisterous laugh always lifted the spirits of those around him. I regret not being in his life these many years later. I loved Jesse like a brother. R.I.P my friend.
