Kenneth Hertzell Obituary
88, of Dover died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Born Jan. 24, 1929 in Champaign, Ill., he was a son of the late E.A. and Esther Walter Hertzell. He retired from the Dover Post Office after 27 years as a Letter Carrier. Ken was an Army Veteran and a member of Faith Family Church in Canton.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia "Trish" Keller Hertzell, whom he married on Dec. 22, 1956; sons, Brad Hertzell and Bret (Kristie) Hertzell both of Dover; sister, Betty (Lloyd) Hagloch of Oregon; granddaughter, Danielle (Mike) Covington and great grandson, Rylan Covington.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Ken may do so by visiting the online obituaries on the funeral homes website. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
