Lillian E. Aubihl
79, of Dover died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the New Dawn Retirement Community. Born Aug. 6, 1931 in Fiat, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Louis and Grace Pyle Varadi. Her husband, David Aubihl who died on Jan. 24, 1994; six brothers; and four sisters also preceded Lillian in death. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Oldtown Valley and was a member of the Union Grange and the Senior Center. In her spare time, Lillian enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards.
Lillian is survived by her loving family that includes her children, Michele (James) Seldenright of Newcomerstown, Charlotte (Edward) Gibbs, Gary (Judy) Aubihl, Kenneth (Lorriane) Aubihl, and Michael (Bonnie) Aubihl, all of New Philadelphia; sisters, Mary Lee (Joe) Monte of Roswell and Anna Stull of Zoar; brother, Ed (Kay) Varadi of Mineral City; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank New Dawn Retirement Community and Country Club Retirement Center for their compassionate care given to Lillian.
Per Lillian's request, cremation will be conducted through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There will be no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Lillian may do so by visiting the on-line obituaries link on the funeral homes website. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church at PO Box 336, Tuscarawas, OH 44682.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Lil when I cared for her at CCRC. She became more than a patient, I counted her as a friend and was blessed to have met her. I will miss seeing her when I stop by to visit everyone at CCRC. My deepest sympathy to you all
