Richard Cromley Obituary

Richard "Dick" Neal Cromley 1944-2016
Age 72, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Born on September 18, 1944, in Dennison, Dick was the son of the late Paul K. and Agnes G. (McQuaid) Cromley. In 1962, Dick graduated from Uhrichsville High School. He served in the Army Reserve and retired from Greer Steel after 44 years, where he was a forklift operator. Dick was a lifelong resident of the area and a life member of the Uhrichsville Elks 424, Dennison Eagles, the Ohio Archeological Society and Tusco Rifle Club. He also was a member of the NRA and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, walking with his buddies, Cleveland Sports Teams and OSU Football.
On October 12, 1968, Dick married Linda K. (Browning) Cromley, who survives of the home. Also surviving are their children, Richard Cromley and Michael (fiancé, Brenda Webb) Cromley all of Uhrichsville; sister-in-law, Shirley Cromley; brother-in-law, Ronald Browning; five grandchildren, Casey, Katie (Tanner Glazier), Nicole, Kayla and Hope Cromley; great-granddaughter, Cecilia Glazier; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by a brother Paul Cromley; nephew Robbie Cromley; his mother and father-in-law Nance and Cletus Browning and brother-in-law Richard Browning.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home in Uhrichsville.
Dick gave the gift of life to others through his donation.
