Evelyn Schall Fake Molinaro 1936 - 2017
CLEVELAND, TN /LITTLE FALLS - Mrs. Evelyn Schall Fake Molinaro, 81, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, in Utica, with her family by her side.
Evelyn was born in the Town of Danube, on February 24, 1936, the daughter of the late Earl William Fake and Evelyn Schall Fake Battelini. She attended Little Falls High School, graduating with the class of 1954. She went on to attend the St. Louis Institute of Music, Utica College and SUNY Cortland. She earned her Piano Teaching Certificate, received her Bachelors of Modern Languages and her Masters in Elementary Education. She was married to Ronald Anthony Molinaro on November 22, 1960, in St. Mary's Church, in Little Falls. She was employed as a school teacher at St. Mary's, in Little Falls, Little Falls Public School and St. Johnsville Central School District, until her retirement in 1996. After retiring to Florida, Evelyn taught at Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University, in Boca Raton. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing the piano, traveling, decorating her home, painting, figure skating and garage sales. Evelyn was a very special and wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and teacher who will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Molinaro, of Cleveland, TN; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brian J. Molinaro, of Little Falls and Michael A. Molinaro, and his wife, Christa, of Herkimer; her two beloved grandchildren, Kateri A. Molinaro, of Cleveland, TN and Thomas A. Molinaro, of Herkimer; her three brothers and sisters-in-law, E. Karl Fake and wife, Donna, of Dearborn, Michigan, D. William Fake and wife, Alice, of Dolgeville, S. Richard Fake, of St. Johnsville; a brother and sister-in- law, Dr. John Molinaro and wife, Linda, of Augusta Georgia; a step-brother and step-sister and their spouses, Raymond and Sunny Battelini, of Charlotte, North Carolina and Barbara and Vincent Curcio of East Vineland, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her parents and step-parents, as well as her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Thomas & Marlene Molinaro. Evelyn also leaves several nephews, nieces and cousins, in addition to many special friends.
Evelyn's family extends a sincere thank you to all of the medical professionals and other staff members who cared for her during her stay at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica.
In keeping with Evelyn's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. A Memorial Mass is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, at St. Joseph's Church, in Dolgeville, with Father Terrance Healy officiating.
Memorial donations, in Evelyn's name, may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY, 13413, or online at www.hospicecareinc.org.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf St., Dolgeville, NY 13329.
